2008 TURF PRO AWARDS
The 2008 Turf Professional of the Year Awards will once again recognise excellence in turf management. We have extended the Awards this year and added new categories.
The five awards categories are:

Last year’s winner was Len Smith, head groundsman of Glamorgan CCC who has overseen the development of the club’s Sophia Gardens ground from parkland to the newest Test Match venue when it hosts the opening Ashes Test in 2009.

2008 Special Achievement Award
Will be presented to that person who has made a special contribution to the industry during 2008, perhaps by overcoming a particular adversity or risk to a golf course, sports ground, stadium through weather or social damage.
